REPORT ON THE MARIAN QUIZ COMPETITION AT BOSCO HOME HERMA PRE-NOVITIATE
19th October, Bosco Home Herma, Tripura: On 19 October 2024, Bosco Home Herma held a Marian quiz competition designed to enhance the knowledge of pre-novices about Mother Mary and deepen their devotion to her. The event began at 5:30 PM, with Fr. Rector, Fr. Confessor, Br. Assistant, and 30 pre-novices in attendance, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and reverence.
The quiz, meticulously prepared by Fr. Rector, focused solely on the life and significant incidents of Mother Mary. This approach aimed to provide a deeper understanding of her role within the Catholic faith. The competition consisted of four exciting rounds, each designed to engage the participants in different ways.
The first round was compulsory for all, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to contribute. In the second round, teams of three members competed against each other, fostering teamwork and collaboration. The third round featured a rapid response format, where participants raised their hands to answer questions, promoting quick thinking and active participation. The final round was a rapid-fire segment, challenging the pre-novices to answer as many questions as possible in a limited time, which heightened the excitement of the competition.
