29th September 2024, Rangblang: The First Annual Meet 2024 of the Seng longkmie Rangblang Parish took place at the Sacred Heart Church in Nonglwai II from September 28 to 29. Themed "Ka Kynthei bastad ka tei ïa la ka ïing, hynrei ka Jingbiej ka pynpra ïa ka da ki kti lajong" (Phawar 14:1), the event emphasized the crucial role of Christian mothers in family life. Approximately 268 delegates participated, with additional attendees joining on the final day. The event began with a flag hoisting by Ioannis Lyngdoh Lyngkhoi, representing MLA Shri Gabriel Wahlang. Resource persons, including Shri Markus Dkhar and Sr. Helen Puwein, led insightful sessions on embodying the Christian mother’s role in modern society. The weekend featured opportunities for confession, Holy Mass, and engaging activities such as debates and a Bible fancy dress contest. The concluding Mass was celebrated by Fr. Lamkupar Shangdiar, followed by a special session on women's roles in the Domestic Church, led by Smt. Sensiful Dkhar. The event ended with a heartfelt acknowledgment of clergy and guests, and an announcement that the next convention will be held in Rangblang subdistrict, leaving participants energized and inspired.
