Shillong 21st September 2024: As part of Swachhata Ki Seva Campaign, St. Xavier's Higher Secondary School Pathaliaghat organized a Cleanliness Drive in the school on 20th September 2024. Class V - XII students(800) along with their teachers took part in the campaign, developing a sense of social responsibility, covering areas around the school, nearby markets, and residential areas. It was organized in order to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and community service among students and local residents. The campaign was inaugurated by Fr. Babu Stephen, the Principal, in the presence of school staff and students. Students, teachers and volunteers collected a significant amount of waste, which was properly disposed of. Swach Ki Seva Campaign was an excellent initiative taken by the school to instill cleanliness habits in our students and community. The students learned the importance of cleanliness and sanitation through this campaign. I will definitely help them practice it in their daily life. Videos and photographs covered the event, highlighting the school's efforts towards cleanliness. The Swachhata Ki Seva Campaign at St. Xavier's School, Pathaliaghat, was a resounding success, promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and community service among students and local residents. We look forward to continuing this initiative and inspiring positive change.
