RILANG CHILDREN’S HOME CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH POSTER MAKING/DRAWING COMPETITION


Shillong, 13 August: Rilang Children's Home, in collaboration with Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, organized a Poster Making/Drawing Competition on the occasion of Independence Day 2024. The event aimed to promote creativity and awareness among children about the significance of independence and the importance of a drug-free India. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from the children, who showcased their artistic skills through vibrant posters and drawings. The themes revolved around independence, freedom, and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan's mission to create a drug-free nation. Fr. James Thyrniang SDB, Director of Rilang Children's Home, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of creative expression and the value of independence.
