14th July 2024, Tripura: From July 14 to July 20, 2024, Bosco Home Herma in Tripura hosted its first retreat for pre-novices, aimed at deepening their spiritual understanding and vocational commitment. Led by distinguished preachers Sirs. Sibi Mathew, Jobi Jacob, Baby Anthony, and Abilash Joseph, the retreat focused on various aspects of spiritual growth. Throughout the week, participants explored the concept of persecution and its role in strengthening faith. The retreat emphasized the true meaning of faith, the significance of sacraments, and the principles of evangelization. Mother Mary’s role in Christianity was also a key theme, with reflections on her importance in the spiritual journey. Inner healing sessions provided opportunities for personal reflection and addressing individual struggles. A highlight of the retreat was a field experience to a nearby village, where pre-novices engaged with local communities and applied their learnings in practical settings. The retreat concluded on July 20 with a closing service featuring a session of inner healing, followed by a dinner to honor the preachers and foster fellowship among the participants. This retreat marked a pivotal step in the pre-novices’ spiritual development and dedication to their faith.
