Rilang Children’s Home Concludes Summer Camp with a Fun-Filled Picnic
Shillong, 17 July: Rilang Children's Home concluded it's Summer Camp 2024 with a thrilling picnic to Meadowland, marking a joyful end to the exciting activities and experiences the children had throughout the camp.
The children had a blast enjoying the day, swimming, dancing, and picnicking, accompanied by Fr. Shemphang, Fr. Cyril, Br. Pynshai Latam, Br. Ricky, and staff.
The Summer Camp, which began on 3 July, saw a range of activities, including a dance class by Ms. Dapalei Warjri from Linna Dance Academy, basketball coaching by renowned National Basketball Coach Ms. Larihun Warjri, arts and crafts, waste management sessions by IAINEH SHG, and other engaging activities.
The children enthusiastically participated in all the activities, learning new skills and making memories with their friends and caretakers. The Summer Camp aimed to provide a platform for the children to learn, grow, and have fun, and it successfully achieved its goal.
The picnic at Meadowland was a fitting conclusion to the Summer Camp, and the children's laughter and smiles were a testament to the success of the camp.
