Shillong 14th June: On June 13, 2024, the Provincial House community warmly welcomed Father Jeevan Lakra sdb, the new Vice-Provincial of INS Province and the Rector of the Provincial House Community. The following day, Fr. John Zoziama, the INS provincial, celebrated the Holy Eucharist and prayed for Father Jeevan Lakra, the INS vice provincial. Father Jeevan Lakra made a profession of faith and promises and was installed as the Rector of the Provincial House Community. Soon after the Holy Eucharist, Father John Zoziama, the INS provincial, handed over the office of vice provincial to Father Jeevan Lakra, the INS vice provincial. There were around eight Salesian witnesses to the event.
