Shillong, 9th June: The perpetual profession of twelve brothers took place at Mawlai Parish. In deep gratitude to God, Brother Hadrian decided to hold a Thanksgiving Mass for the gift of his vocation. The celebration of the Holy Eucharist occurred at Khiehriat Parish on June 9, 2024. It was organized on his own initiative, in collaboration with his family, with permission from the provincial, Father John Zoziama SDB, and approval from Khiehriat Parish Priest, Father Ioannis Pakma SDB. Father Ioannis Pakma warmly welcomed all the fathers, sisters, brothers, and faithful attendees. The Mass was presided over by Father John Zoziama SDB, the INS provincial, accompanied by nine concelebrants. During his homily, the pastor emphasized the significant role played by Salesian brothers in the congregation. The choir was managed by the Salesian co-operators of Khiehriat Parish. At the conclusion of the Holy Eucharist, Brother Hadrian expressed his gratitude to God and all those involved in organizing the event. He also underscored a personal reflection: "One day, when I meet God, He will not ask me many things, but He will ask me how much I loved Him." Overall, the program proceeded smoothly and was well received. Following the Holy Eucharist, a brief felicitation program and cake-cutting took place at his residence.
