16TH ANNUAL MEET OF SYNJUK SENG RANGBAH: STRENGTHENING CATHOLIC FAITH IN RANGBLANG PARISH
10th March 2024, Rangblang: The 16th Annual Meet of Synjuk Seng Rangbah unfolded with solemnity and spiritual fervor in Rangblang Parish, South West Khasi Hills, from March 9th to 10th, 2024, under the theme "Ki Rangbah Katholik bad ka imlang sahlang." Led by Fr. Sylvester Nongsiej and featuring a special session by Shri Iaineh Kharnoh, the event drew 120 delegates for two days of spiritual reflection and inspiration. The proceedings commenced with the hoisting of the flag by Fr. Edmund Lakra, parish priest, amidst a congregation of faithful attendees. Talks, delivered in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, enriched the spiritual atmosphere, emphasizing the roles of Catholic fathers in family and society. The event's vibrancy was highlighted by sacraments, prayers, and Holy Masses, with Fr. Sylvester presiding over significant moments. Attendees experienced moments of confession, Rosary recitation, and Adoration, further deepening their spiritual connection. Symbolically, the lowering of flags marked the conclusion of the event, symbolizing the passing of responsibility to the Sub-district Mawsaw for the upcoming year. Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to strengthen their faith and pledged to uphold their Catholic values, echoing the sentiment of Joshua 24:15.
