October 19, 2023,Rambrai: The Mount Calvary Parish in Rambrai was filled with enthusiasm as it hosted a grand Confirmation ceremony on October 19, 2023. The event, saw the guidance and instruction provided by Fr Alexius Dkhar, Sr Pherdalin Thongni, and Head Catechist Jostin Sohshang to over 300 young individuals in preparation for the sacrament. Excitement peaked on Saturday, October 21, as the parish welcomed the esteemed presence of Most Rev Bishop Wilbert Marweiñ, making his first visit after his ordination as the Bishop of the diocese. The day unfolded with a Solemn Mass for the Confirmation, jointly officiated by Fr Gilbert Gel Bhoi, the parish priest, and the assistant priests, Fr Alexius Dkhar and Fr Protasius Syngkli. In a notable delegation, Bishop Wilbert Marweiñ entrusted Fr Gilbert Gel Bhoi and Fr Alexius with the responsibility of confirming 317 young individuals. The atmosphere was vibrant as the youths filled the air with their melodious hymns.
