24 hours of adoration in preparation for the upcoming Eucharistic procession and praying for peace in the world held at Baijalbari Parish recommended by the Diocese of Agartala
Tripura 13th &14th October 2023: The Diocese of Agartala recommends all the Parishes that fall under the Agartala Diocese to have a 24-hour continuous adoration in preparation for the upcoming Eucharistic procession within the diocese level and also to pray for peace in the world. Therefore, on October 13th and 14th, 2023, the Baijalbari Parish that falls under the Agartala Diocese will also fulfill the recommendation set by the diocese. They began the adoration on the 13th at 8:00 a.m. and concluded with mass on the 14th at 8:00 a.m. Fr. Paul Panachikkal Sdb exposed the blessed sacrament at 8:00 am, and the faithful started to adore the Lord continuously till the next morning. Two congregations of sisters came for the Eucharistic adoration together with the Catholic girls from their convents. The catholic girls from the convent were also present for the night vigil adoration until 4:00 a.m. There were also two head catechists who actually animated the adoration service. The priests, sisters, and faithful kept awake in prayer till morning, and the adoration service was concluded on the 14th at 8:00 am, which was followed by a holy mass celebrated by Father Merkush.
