Tripura 12th September: On 12thSeptember 2023, the whole family of Anjali Debbarma entered the Catholic Church at Lakshmishera and were baptised by Fr. Paul Panachikkal Sdb. The baptism took place at the village church of Lakshmishera, which falls under Baijalbari Parish. There were many families who witnessed the baptism, and it was indeed a blessing for the village church as well as the parish. The family became Catholic because they experienced Jesus in their lives and wanted to know more about the Catholic faith. Fr. Paul also commented that the family became Catholic not under the influence of anyone but because of their faith in Jesus.
