Shillong 28th May: “A WALK IN NATURE WALKS THE SOUL BACK HOME”- Mary Davis. The department of Stenography and DeskTop Publishing organized a one day trekking to a beautiful place in Shiliang Jashiar few kilometers away from the town of Pynursla on 26th May 2023. The students and teachers along with the vice principal left the school Campus at around 8:30 am. It was a beautiful day to experience nature in all its beauty. The team reached the place at around 11: 45 am, they proceeded ahead and trek down to the river where they had their tiffin. They spent the time in the river and around the waterfall there. Later, the students explored on their own the beautiful place. At around 4 pm they trekked back up the mountains where the bus had been parked and returned to the school. The students expressed their gratefulness to the teachers for organizing such trekking to refresh their mind, body and spirit.
