RILANG CHILDREN’S HOME LAUNCHES ART-BASED THERAPY PROGRAM


July 5th, 2024, Shillong - Rilang Children's Home has started an art-based therapy program, offering a creative outlet for its children. Led by Sister Bahun FMA, this initiative aims to foster emotional expression, confidence building, and stress relief. The program, which will run until January 2025, provides a safe space for children to explore their imagination and talent. Through various art forms, they will transform their thoughts and emotions into vibrant artworks, promoting emotional well-being and development. Rilang Children's Home is grateful to Sister Bahun FMA for her expertise and support in introducing this innovative therapy approach. Over the next six months, the children will have regular sessions, harnessing the power of art to express themselves creatively and positively. This program promises to be a valuable addition to the home's activities, empowering the children to navigate their emotions and experiences through art.
