The official Initiation Program took place on the 5th of June 2025, in the Community Chapel of Bosco Home, Herma. This sacred ceremony marked their transition into full-fledged Pre-novices and was a moment of grace, and commitment. The program commenced at 6:00 PM, beginning with a heartfelt introductory speech by the Rector, Fr. Glorious Syiemlieh. In his address, Fr. Glorious extended a warm welcome to all, making special mention of Fr. Mani Kochupura, the newly assigned confessor of the community. The initiation ceremony was presided over by Fr. Babu Stephan, a council member of the INS Province who represented the Provincial. In his homily, Fr. Babu exhorted the Pre-novices to embrace the spirit of St. Paul particularly his prudence and to surrender themselves wholeheartedly to their superiors, allowing themselves to be molded in the spirit of Don Bosco and the Salesian mission. The ceremony was graced by the presence of five priests, two brothers, and the 28 newly initiated Pre-novices, creating a deeply spiritual and communal atmosphere. Following the initiation rite, a photo session captured the solemn moments was taken.

From the initial planning to the final end, the program was executed smoothly and meaningfully. The event concluded with the fathers and brothers offering heartfelt congratulations to the new Pre-novices for their courageous step towards religious life and their commitment to serve the Salesian Congregation and the universal Church. The beautiful and blessed evening was brought to a joyful close with a family dinner, symbolizing unity, fraternity, and the shared journey that lies ahead.
