DON BOSCO STUDENTS SHINE AT KALA UTSAV 2025 – SIAHA DISTRICT
27th August 2025, Siaha : Kala Utsav, the flagship initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy (DSE&L) under the Ministry of Education (MoE), has been celebrating the artistic spirit of students since its launch in 2015. Aimed at promoting and nurturing talent at the Secondary Stage, the programme provides a vibrant platform for students to explore, appreciate, and showcase the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Bharat. The event functions as an ongoing journey—helping students identify, understand, practice, and evolve their artistic expression while celebrating the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
This year, Kala Utsav was hosted at the DRDA Office, with enthusiastic participation from various schools across Siaha District. Among the standout performers was Don Bosco School, Siaha, whose students delivered exceptional performances across multiple categories and secured top positions:
- Vocal Music Solo – First Prize
- Group Dance (Folk/Tribal) – Second Prize
- Traditional Storytelling – First Prize
- Visual Art (2D Dimension) – Individual – First Prize
- Visual Art (3D Dimension) – Group – Second Prize
- Visual Art (3D Dimension) – Individual – Third Prize
