31st August 2024, Rangblang: The Albizuri Tournament 2024, organized by the Catholic Youth Movement of the Diocese of Nongstoin, took place at Rangblang Parish, drawing winners from the Diocese’s four zones. The event, launched by Fr Cyril Pariong DYD, Fr Jeffrey Kharkongor, Kaius Jyrwa, and other officials, featured a football tournament for boys and basketball for both girls and boys. In women's basketball, Nongstoin Parish and Sonapahar Parish emerged as winners. For men’s basketball, Nongstoin Parish clinched the top spot, with Mairang Parish as runners-up. In football, Mawkyrwat Parish Youth secured the victory, while Sonapahar Parish Youth finished second. The day also included a Lucky Draw to support the NDCYM. The event concluded with prize distributions and a blessing from Fr Cyril Pariong DYD, with significant participation from Rangblang Parish families.
