The day’s program began with the recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, starting at the grotto and continuing in a prayerful procession to the church. This was followed by a reflection talk centered on the Jubilee theme, helping participants to delve deeper into the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage. The Sacrament of Reconciliation was made available, offering a chance for personal renewal.
The highlight of the day was a solemn Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Fr. Glorious, the Director of the Pre-novices. The liturgy was marked by reverence and heartfelt participation.
At 2:00 p.m., the Nandanagar community warmly hosted the pilgrims for a delicious lunch. After the meal, the group was given a guided tour of the area, which included visits to three significant institutions: the Cathedral, the Holy Cross Provincial House and School, and Auxilium School. At each stop, they were welcomed with hospitality, including tea and refreshments.
The pilgrims began their return journey at 6:30 p.m., arriving safely at Bosco Home Herma by 8:40 p.m. The entire experience — from the spiritual engagements to the fraternal visits — was deeply enriching for all involved. Both the Fathers and Pre-novices expressed sincere gratitude to the organizing committee for their efforts in ensuring a smooth, meaningful, and memorable pilgrimage.
