The Don Bosco Centre (opened in 2004) is the project of the Salesians of Tripura to offer to the young people an opportunity to become self-sufficient in life, particularly for those youngsters who do not have the opportunity and means to pursue higher studies. Situated at the periphery of the township, with abundant land for cultivation and training, the centre equips the trainees with the basic and scientific knowledge in farming, animal husbandry, etc., as also other skills. The centre has successfully engaged in the production of coffee.
