WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATED AT DON BOSCO ASPIRANTATE NONGLAKHIAT

5th June 2025, Nonglakhiat: On June 5, 2025, marking the World Environment Day, Don Bosco Aspirantate Nonglakhiat observed this important event by participating in the tree plantation drive organised by the community of RRTC, Umran. This event was organized to educate the young minds the value of trees and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

    The event started with a short prayer and awareness on environmental issues by Fr. Kenny Pakma, SDB, the rector, which was followed by the planting of saplings. Everyone worked together to plant 3,000 saplings within the campus of RRTC, Umran. Each one participated in this green mission with great enthusiasm and hope. 

    The program lasted till the afternoon and was concluded with a lunch. Everyone returned home feeling proud and hopeful for a greener tomorrow.

    The World Environment Day celebration was a great success. It helped raised awareness and brought people together to work for the good of our common home. The act of planting trees showed our love for the humanity and hope for a better future.
