Shillong August 24, 2024: On the 24th of August 2024, the INS Clerics gathered for a half-day recollection aimed at fostering spiritual growth. The recollection was held at Mathias Institute, Don Bosco Provincial House. The recollection was structured in order to help the Clerics in their personal and collective introspection. The recollection also included time for silent meditation, a chance to reflect on their spiritual journey and reconnect with their inner selves. There were around 35 Clerics, consisting of practical trainees and student brothers of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, and Ri Bhoi. The recollection was arranged and organised by Fr. Jeevan Lakra Sdb, Vice-Provincial. The talk was given by Fr. VT. Jose Sdb under the theme “Walk by the Spirit (Gal 5:16). To summarise, the talk of Fr. VT Jose is basically based on God’s love. The day began with a personal adoration, talk by Fr. VT. Jose, confession, and ends with a common adoration.
